WHAT IS ADVANCED ELECTROLYSIS?
Advanced Electrolysis, sometimes referred to as Advanced Cosmetic Procedures or blemish removal, is a specialised application of electrolysis used to treat selected cosmetic skin blemishes.
A very fine probe is used to deliver a controlled electrical current to the targeted area. The technique allows for precise treatment of small, localised blemishes while aiming to minimise impact on the surrounding skin.
Depending on the type, size and location of the blemish, it may be possible to treat it in a single session, while some concerns may require more than one treatment.

SKIN TAG REMOVAL
Skin tags are small, soft growths that commonly appear around areas where the skin rubs against skin or clothing e.g. neck. Advanced Electrolysis can treat suitable cosmetic skin tags following assessment.

MILIA REMOVAL
Milia are small, firm, white or pearly bumps caused by trapped keratin beneath the surface of the skin. Advanced Electrolysis treats individual milia including those found under the eyes following consultation.

THREAD VEIN
Thread Veins also known as Telangiectasia, are small visible blood vessels that often appear on the face. Advanced Electrolysis uses precise diathermy technique to treat suitable thread veins.

CHERRY ANGIOMA / BLOOD SPOTS
Cherry Angiomas, sometimes referred to as blood spots or Campbell de Morgan spots, are small red vascular blemishes that develop on the skin. Suitable blemishes can be treated using Advanced Electrolysis following assessment.

Spider Naevi
Spider Naevi are small vascular blemishes characterised by a central red point with fine vessels radiating outward. Suitable spider nave can be assessed for removal by Advanced Electrolysis treatment.
